| Xanga, we have to talk. We've had fun, right? Yeah I've enjoyed it too. You're a great way to waste time. I really appreciate how you enable me to feel like I'm communicating but never really say much at all, and how you let me feel like I'm spilling my deepest thoughts but in reality I'm holding things back because I know other people read them. You know what I did yesterday? I bought a journal. Hey now, don't get mad at me just yet. You know, to be perfectly honest with you, there are things we just can't be for each other. I can't really tell you the truth, and you can't really keep it. This relationship just isn't beneficial for either of us. Now, don’t ever think that I didn’t appreciate you. I just know that it’s not good for me right now. I need to talk to my friends, like really talk to them. And I need to write, I need to write what’s important to me. I hope we can still be friends. Yeah, I’ll miss you too. Goodbye. | | |
| Ok, so I listened to the Wicked soundtrack the whole way through for the first time on the way home. I was loving it and singing my head off. The songs are great by themselves, but it’s awesome all together. I like traveling alone.
I realized today that I find immense joy in interpersonal interaction. Not just myself, but between other people too. It just makes me happy when people talk to each other who wouldn’t normally. The suburbs is an odd place. I think we need to have a block party. There are 11 houses on my cul-de-sac. Of those 11, there are 5 distinct nationalities and people from all walks of life. It’s kind of an odd thing. There is nothing that would naturally draw us together aside from location (and the fact that Mrs. Chellios, the Greek woman down the way also wants to have a block party). Everyone on the block was quite content living utterly separate from each other (except for me, but I don’t count cause I don’t live here) until Mary, the woman who recently moved in next door with her husband John, decided to go meet the neighbors. Now there’s a block party in the making. This makes me happy.
| WOW... I tell you what, WOW
You gotta see this!
It made me happy. Thank you Ben Adams

Does anyone know what the name of this song is?
-edit-
Nevermind, I found it. It's "Dragostea Din Tei" or "Mai Ai Hee" and it's a Romanian techno song. Good to know, though I can never hear it now without thinking about that kid in the video.
| Ok, so no rodeo on Saturday, which was just fine. We went to
Patty's Pottery Painting Place instead (which, I think, was more my
style anyway). It was so much fun, one of those places where they
have once-fired pottery (bisque-ware for all you ceramics junkies) that
you can choose from to glaze whatever colors you want then they fire it
for you. I loved it! I made a bowl and Beth made a
mug. After that we went to Applebee’s for their awesome blondie a
la mode smothered in white chocolate sauce and pecans. I’m
salivating all over again. Such a great time.
So we watched Run Lola Run in my film styles class tonight. I love my major!
